Do NOT risk this, it can trash a late system. Try ccleaner.exe, the last time I tried it would still work on 98.
You have a very small RAM and a very small Hard Drive.
Technology wise there are two groups of Windows OS
1. Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME (FAT32)
2. Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (NTFS)
Most modern programs are not compatible with the earlier Windows (in the first group)
Increase your Sdram to 512mb and you will notice a big difference in speed I have 2 Compaq Presario 5000 series they are great desktops with minimal problems. But first run scandisk disk clean up and disk defragmenter that should work.
