The two cds you have will not work. They are drivers (Software programs that tell hardware how to work). You probably damaged your hard drive. You may be able to repair the damaged drive using a Gatway Scan (GWSCAN v. 5.12) Use another computer to go to the GWSCAN link below. Download, extract and then burn the program to a CD.Restart the computer and press F12. Select CD/DVDRW and then select Full Scan. Wait and see.
You can also run the Onboard Dell DIAGS. Information about running that is below. Basically restart computer hit F12 and select DIAGNOSTIC. The Onboard Dell DIAG will not repair the drive. A GWCAN can. Good luck.
you have damaged the hard drive.
basicly you have broken it.
it is asking for the windows install disc not a disc full of drivers.
it is not seeing the boot.ini because
the read/write arm in the hard drive has probably been bent by shock from the impact.
and is now unable to move freely.
You more likely than not, need a new hard drive.
