How much memory (RAM) do you have on your computer. I honestly wouldn’t run anything less than a gig now but 512 is suitable and workable. How full is your hard drive, meaning how much disk space is available. Have you defragged the hard drive? If all this has been done, I’m gonna go with software being the cause and I’d try running a repair from the original installation disk. Only a repair, do not reinstall the O.S.. A repair will only replace system files, and leave your other applications alone.
Stop using IE and switch to Firefox browser.
update your computer
Buy new RAM of 512MB (for XP)
It will enhance working of your pc.
