Step 1
Right-click on your MSN icon and then click on "Exit."
Step 2
Press Control-Alt-Delete so that the Task Manager pops up.
Step 3
Go to the Processes tab on the Task Manager. Look at the list under Processes and if you see a process titled msnmsngr.exe then right click it and choose "End Process," and then select "Yes" to go to the next step.
Step 4
Uninstall your MSN Messenger by going to the Start Menu and clicking on "Control Panel" and then "Add/Remove Programs." Scroll down your list of programs and when you find MSN Messenger, click on it, then click on "Remove." Click on "Yes" when it asks you if you’re sure.
Step 5
Close the Control Panel once MSN Messenger has been successfully uninstalled.
Step 6
Go to the Start Menu and click on "My Computer" and then your C drive, or whatever your hard drive is named if it’s not C, and then click on "Program Files."
Step 7
Find and delete the folder labeled MSN Messenger. Empty the recycle bin by right clicking and selecting "Empty Recycle Bin."
Step 8
Install the latest version of Windows Live Messenger. You can get a copy at download.live.com/messenger (see Resources).
Step 9
Run your antivirus software to be sure the virus is gone.

Tracking cookies are not virus’ !!!….there small pieces of information stored on your computer for tracking your surfing and buying habits…to get a full description of a tracking cookie….type this in as a search on the internet >>>> What is a Tracking Cookie
Most AV products including the one i have don’t even look for Tracking Cookies…I let my Super anti-spyware take care of them…I average between 300-400 per week on the computer…..and it doesn’t bother me…and the thing is …even if you delete them…when you surf the internet it will just put another one in its place…nothing you can do about it…..
