Did you upgrade to Windows 7 or did a new installation? It’s better to do a clean install than upgrade, less chance of having issue.
Since it no longer has a Vista installation, it can’t repair Vista. Bring it to a computer repair shop. Someone has to diagnose the problem before you can fix it.
It sounds like you did a successful reinstall but you didn’t update your device drivers.
Go to the Lenovo website and find your model and download and install drivers for your devices. You could probably call them and ask what order to install the drivers in.
Go with Windows 7 as it doesn’t have many of Vista’s problems.
