   ive used ccleaner hundreds of times and never had a problem in fact ccleaner is the only optimizer that ive never had a problem with since it doesn’t make arbitrary configuration decisions for me and you know im not promoting ccleaner because its free i have nothing to gain using ccleaner is very good system restore can correct many problems start up repair could also be a option if necessary when you start up your as soon as you see anything push f11 and hold it until you see progress bar when you see the recovery menu click on advanced then start up repair your computer will restart and goto the same recovery menu then click cancel proceed to desktop start up should repair since it was reloaded from back up

   When you cleaned it out it could of put a virus on ur computer if your computer if you have a dell or hp you should be able to have a restore feature on there have you tryed that if not if you would like i can try to get into your comuter and help you on this matter just send me an email

   Over the years, these so called registry cleaners have become popular but they are completely unnecessary and, as you have learned, dangerous. You DO NOT need to mess with the registry especially if you are using Vista or Windows 7. If you backed up your registry before you used CCleaner, find the file, double click it, say yes you want to merge, and restart your computer. If that doesn’t work use System Restore. If System Restore doesn’t work, your only other alternative is format and reinstall Windows.
