Could be a problem with device drivers , hardware or software . This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html
Hard to tell what is happening here.
Best place to start is to open up the task manager and put it on top. Sort the cpu usage by percentage ie click the percentage column until you get it going from highest to lowest. Then watch what processes are using using the most system resources (and are you hitting 100%) when you try to open your program. Also watch the memory out of the corner of your eye to make sure that isn’t maxing out.
If you find any process that does seem to be consuming a lot of resources on its own and you don’t understand what any process is just plug the process name into google and will give you an idea of what is. If it is lots of small percentages which are just adding up to a lot then you may need to cleanup some of your start up programs.
Some anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall (basically security programs) check everything in real time and some of these (particularly Norton) are known to be resource hogs and it could be checks they are doing that is slowing things down although why the initial opening isn’t being slowed is hard to tell. It just may be that much isn’t running then.
