   If your computer is slower than normal and you’re having other problems it could mean winlogon.exe is an undesirable trojan or it is corrupted. Whether it is a trojan or not usually depends on where it is located on your PC. Many trojans try to cloak themselves as a known legit process.

   For example: Svchost.exe is a legit process. However, it could be a trojan too. It just depends on where it is located on your PC. The scum-bags who create trojans know if they can somehow get a similar or identical process to Svchost.exe on your computer, it can run without ever being detected. What makes it tough to tell is… trojan symptoms are similar to a very poorly maintained computer: poor speed, takes forever to load when starting up, slow internet speed, popups, errors, crashing, and freezing.

   If this wont work ,you have to format your system and install fresh copy of windows xp
