I keep getting DLL error message when I start up and messages keep popping up telling this program has stopped working and that program has stopped working; including internet explorer and Firefox. Would this step fix it?

Use the Windows Master disk that should have come with your computer…….just boot from disk and then click past the language options and you’ll see an option to repair windows click on this and then click through the options until you get an option to repair windows.
That should fix the missing .DLL files
if not, you may need to think about doing a clean reinstall of your operating system but you should only choose that as a last resort.
If you dont have the windows master disk thing then you can download it (will only have the repair option) on the internet or request one from microsoft just dont use the manufactorers one cause that’ll wipe everything off your harddrive
I recommend you do a windows update. If not reformat and install your operating system.
I don’t recommend reinstalling windows. The dll error messages seem serious, but can be solved by troubleshooting the problem. You need to identify the cause. When these dll errors pop up write them. Do google search to see what other people are saying about them. Go to the Microsoft help and support and research the problem.
Go into safe mode to see if these dll error message continue
to occur. Run msconfig.exe Type it in the Run box Go to Start>Run and check in the startup tab any absense of prog.
campare that with what is there in normal mode of Windows.
