its easy, when in ie 7 you click on the video u want to watch, the youtube player wold show you sumthing like ‘u need flash player to be installed’ just click on the link on the top of the page saying ‘click to download flash player and download the directed file and install it.
its surely gotta nothing to do with your firewall
or go to macromedia website and surf thru to go to FLASHPLAYER and download and install it.
You can also download real player to watch and DOWNLOAD directly the youtube videos.
i think the problem is windows vista. on one of our laptops, we cant watch anything on youtube, that’s the one with vista, our other laptop has windows xp on it and we can watch whetever we want on it.
You need the codecs that Youtube uses for video to be able to see them.
also make sure your Flashplayer is updated
Update to Internet Explorer 8 or get Mozilla Firefox from the main site. If this doesn’t work please tell me. Also, see if you have a Java plugin. Hope this works and helps!
I’d like to help, but your question couldn’t be more vague.
Can you at least give some description of your problem?
→ Are you able to log on to the site?
→ If so, what shows up on the screen?
→ What things (if any) are missing?
→ Can you access other websites?
→ What exactly has stopped working?
→ What have you tried so far to fix it?
→ Do you get particular messages?
→ Do you get "invalid parameters"?
→ Do you get "bad request" or "400"?
→ Do you get "internal server error"
→ Do you get "java" & "flash" messages?
→ Do you get "video no longer available"?
→ Do you get a blank video player?
→ Do you get videos, but they won’t play?
→ Do you get the "spinning circle"?
→ Do you get very slow "buffering"?
→ Do you get video, but no sound?
→ Do you get "choppy" videos?
→ Do you get "flickering" videos?
→ Do you get a strange looking page?
→ Do you get a page full of "code"?
→ Do you get anything on the screen?
→ What is your "Flash player"?
→ Do you even have a "Flash player"?
→ Are "cookies" enabled?
→ Did you recently install something?
→ Do you have other software running?
Details, details, details. Each one of these questions
