can you help?

I own this OS and for some reason many programs are not compatible with 64bit processors. I would like to know whats a good program to use for safe cleaning i used ccleaner in xp but with this OS it doesnt work quite well anymore. When i tried to uninstall Office 2007 home student 2007 it gave me errors and as well norton internet security 2007 gave me more errors and i was using its add remove feature doesnt work. Do you know of one or many i could use with this kind of vista 0S 64bit. I dont want to mess this up again. I have tried tuneup utilties 2007 2008 and now 2009 to its max. Scared to use the registry cleaner please help ok i want something a novice user could use thank you and yes i have tried pc decrapifier as well maybe some nice tuneups or tweaks you could give would be great thanks

They recc bringing box in if slowdown are that massive (I am luck the shop is a couple blocks away and these guys provide support all the time). I grew up with Windows hearing approach Registry with great caution, etc. These programs always seem to find "Deep Registry Problems" I have error expert (full). cc cleaner, and have tried other "free trials."
Advertising is so heavy for these things it is hard to find a straight unbiased review that addresses the basic question: Do not us, OK to use, OK but dangerous, Helpful as maintenance, Only if problem – etc.
Is there a simpler answer. Thank you very much.
