Well first you need to have a Windows XP install disc and a valid XP Proof of Purchase key.
Insert the CD/DVD into the CD/DVD drive turn off your computer and turn it back on press whatever key it is to configure the BIOS eg F2, F12 tell it to boot from CD/DVD and then Save and Close wait till it loads and it will say press ENTER to boot from CD/DVD do that wait a few minutes while it loads. Tell it to Install Windows and press ESC for a clean install.
Hope this helps!!
Dear lord,I don’t know how many years have to go by so people won’t ask this idiotic question anymore? Are you aware that windows XP is dead and 2 OS older than the current one? What is wrong with you!If you have a problem with Vista ask help on how to fix it or instead of doing something that defines stupidity ,upgrade to 7 .
1)First, backup all of your important files to a cd or other media, download the drivers required for windows xp and copy them to a cd.
2) Go into your computer’s BIOS and set the cd drive as the first device to boot.
3) Insert your windows XP cd into your disk drive and reboot the computer(press any button message will appear…press any button). follow onscreen instructions until it asks if you want to install or fix windows xp.
4)press the button to format the harddrive as NTFS. (this takes awhile)
5)choose to install windows xp once formatting is done.
6)you will have to create new partitions for your harddrive. choose any option you want.
7)follow onscreen instructions..the instalation process takes ALOT of time be patient.
8)the computer will reboot, install drivers from step 1
9)reboot, restore data from step 1.
