So my Pc has both virus and spyware, i’ve tryed every single imaginable program.AVG,McAffe, Ad-Aware,Registry cleaner and so on. So i just tough if their was a program that could clean my hard drive and only leave the windows operating system. If you any i would really appriciate if you would help me.I’ve gotten rid of the virus but now i got spyware which is very well known, DriveCleaner,Ultimate Cleaner and another bucnh of crap. thx for your help. Run the McAffee and other scans again.
Print out the log file.
Restart in safe mode.
Very carefully, manually remove each entry in the registry which matches the logfile lists of suspected malware.
When you are finished, kill all processes except the explorer.exe
Do a full scan disk of your drive.
Do a defrag.
Be sure to disable all other processes except explorer.exe and what programs I have listed.
Go to add/remove programs.
Remove the programs that have caused you trouble. If you have to, manually remove the programs.
Go to system restore.
Restore to a point prior to the events that caused trouble.
Update your system.
restart again in normal mode.
Only a suggestion.
Have you been disk cleaning in Safe Mode? If you don’t, you could miss a self-executable file which will continue to load every time you start Windows.
I’d wipe the disk, and re-install the OS.
I’d use a lowlevel utility to wipe the disk. You could just re-format, or you could erase the information with eraser http://www.heidi.ie/eraser/
