   I highly recommend you download superantispyware.It will fix that problem. It is VERY VERY effective and it is free.

   This is a virus called v-undo. I think that there is a program called "Trojan Remover" that has the ability toremove it. Most of the computers that I have worked on with this problem ended up being rebuilt. Search for Trojan Remover and try that.

   WinFixer is a real tough one to get rid of, however, there is some good information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WinFixer, including a link to a program that might remove it, and — near the bottom of the article — links to several sites that show you how to remove it manually.

   Once you’ve done that, I’d recommend using a browser that is not Internet Explorer. Try FireFox; I use it and like it. You can find it here: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/.

   You can try Spysweeper to get rid of it or you can do the following

   Below listed processes dlls registry entries files directories are part of this spyware. To manually get rid of it, follow these instructions (at your own risk).WinFixer 2005 Removal Instructions

   I’ve never had any luck with Norton or McAfee (the free programs l listed are better and work)

   Dowload Spybot-Search and destroy from http://www.download.com, Its entirely free and best among the free anti-spyware programs
   Norton didnt catch it bcoz, its not a virus. Virus and spywares are different. Ad-Aware is supposdly good, but i didnt try it. Also try Yahoo toolbar or Google toolbar. Both hav excellent pop-up blockers
