I’m currently experiencing a really bad virus.
First, I got a Windows Antivirus Pro, but managed to remove it and run Malwarebyte’s Anti Malware. After that, I thought it was all good, but my search results on google started redirecting to other things. Then, I got a Windows Police Pro. I removed the program files and fixed the registry so I could run programs. But there’s still something on my computer. Whenever i try to run an anti spyware or anti malware program, it halts abruptly and then I can’t open it at all. Also, my registry cleaner had the same problem. They all failed when they got to a cirtain part of the registry. AVG got through the registry without failing. I also have some suspicious processes:
msiexec.exe
mscorsvw.exe
b.exe
Also, when I was playing a game, I noticed a whole bunch of clicking sounds, as if the web browser went to another page. There was no web browser running at the time though.
Can anyone help?
Some more details:
I’ve tried SuperAntiSpyware and it won’t work. It always stops and crashes, even in safe mode.
For some reason, All my system restore points are gone.

You most likely still have a virus on your computer, the best solution IMO is to take the hard drive out and scan it with another computer. If you can’t do that you can try going to housecall65.trendmicro.com and scan your computer with their free java based anti-virus software.
Furthermore see if you can download and install Spybot Search and Destroy. If you need to log your computer into Safe Mode (F8 on startup) and scan your computer with it.
Good Luck 🙂
Reboot in Safe Mode (F8 on startup, or hit reset at the Windows splash screen) with no networking, then perform a scan.
EDIT:
msiexec.exe – this is a Windows installer process.
mscorsvw.exe – Part of Net 2.0
b.exe – this is the Trojan.
Use Truesword to get rid of it. Here is some information: http://www.securitystronghold.com/gates/lampsy-trojan.html
And it’s advisable you download a distro of Linux, most likely Ubuntu or Xubuntu. Burn this to a CD with an image burner (imgburn), and then boot your computer from the CD. This will allow you to back up anything on your system should the problem not go away. It’s an idea to keep it handy for in future too.
