where can i download a free registry cleaner for my PC?

I’ve tried everything, and they all say that i need to pay money, and that they can only repair 20 items. My computer is running slower than ever now that i have so many errors on it. I have AVG anti virus and AVG anti spyware, so i know i don’t have any viruses or anything like that. I did have a Trojan Horse virus but i wiped it with AVG. But i think it may have caused plenty errors on my PC, plus a lot of other things that i’ve unknowingly did. Can somebody please help me get my PC up and running good. THANKS

What is the best download utility to buy, to clean/repair and protect my Registry?

A Registry Mechanic (installed on my Desktop) scan showed 24 shared DLL’s, 75 Temporary/Shortcut and 14 Deep Scan problems/errors. Unfortunately, I’m not a computer nerd and so, I don’t know what all that stuff means. I haven’t purchased it (Registry Mechanic/PC Tools), yet. I don’t know what a computer "registry" is.

I’m also receiving prompts telling me I have both application and stop (and some other type of error I don’t remember) errors.

My computer’s security programs consist of the following freeware: Ad-Aware SE Personal; Spybot Search & Destroy, and SpywareBlaster for malware/anti-spyware purposes; and for a firewall, ZoneAlarm.

I have an unpurchased/not registered Spy Sweeper (Webroot) on my Desktop which I use for scan purposes.

My only registered/purchased (anti-virus) program is AVG Professional, from Czechoslovakia, and I’m in the last year of their two-year program. I have no big complaints about them. If there’s a better one, I’m not aware of it

How can I remove WinAntiVirusPro2006? My husband downloaded this and it has killed my computer.?

I am running Windows XP on a Dell computer. I have anti-virus, anti-spyware and a registry cleaner, but have not been able to get this WinAntiVirusPro2006 cleaned out of my system and it just keeps getting slower and slower.

How do you get rid of WinFixer????

I have gone out to their (extortionist!) site but nothing has helped. I have recently downloaded Norton 2006 and it hasn’t detected ANYTHING. I have found pieces by doing searches in safe mode but when I think I have everything deleted it shows up again. Anyone successful???
PS I have MS Anti Spyware and have done several full scans, in safe mode and in normal. I’ll try the earlier suggestion of restoring back to a future date. I have already backed up all docs.
I’ll let you know if it works. Has anyone contacted the FCC??

I need help with a really bad virus?

I’m currently experiencing a really bad virus.

First, I got a Windows Antivirus Pro, but managed to remove it and run Malwarebyte’s Anti Malware. After that, I thought it was all good, but my search results on google started redirecting to other things. Then, I got a Windows Police Pro. I removed the program files and fixed the registry so I could run programs. But there’s still something on my computer. Whenever i try to run an anti spyware or anti malware program, it halts abruptly and then I can’t open it at all. Also, my registry cleaner had the same problem. They all failed when they got to a cirtain part of the registry. AVG got through the registry without failing. I also have some suspicious processes:

msiexec.exe
mscorsvw.exe
b.exe

Also, when I was playing a game, I noticed a whole bunch of clicking sounds, as if the web browser went to another page. There was no web browser running at the time though.

Can anyone help?
Some more details:

I’ve tried SuperAntiSpyware and it won’t work. It always stops and crashes, even in safe mode.

For some reason, All my system restore points are gone.
