if your gonna throw it out remove your hard drive and smash it to bits lol I would I have used bats on plenty old ide Hard drive’s for the hell of it lol
I will advise to first use BOOTKILL. It will wipe out your hard disk…in this case all sectors will be flooded by zeros. Then you can Install your OS again.
But be reminded that you will lost all your data once you done this so you have to put aside a backup of your important files.
Cheers.
yes download Linux and install that it will wipe windows off and you will not suffer with a slow computer or viruses again
linux is free to download and use with all the software you will ever need all free what more could you ask for
Get someone to reformat the hard drive.
Absolutely. one way you can do this is just by reinstalling your operating system. this is the easiest and best way to start from scratch. if you don’t have an operating system on hand, you can simply buy one online or at a retail store. don’t buy any used though.
another way you can do this is by going through the command prompt and using a command called "fdisk", this way is a bit more advanced though. you would also still need an operating system on hand though
yes there is. Basically you have two options – clear the hard drive and reformat it using a start up disk. Problem is you would have to have all the original software that you are removing (windows, office, etc). Or, depending on the brand name of your computer, you could purchase (for a very low price) quick restore cds, which are specific to the model and/or serial number of your computer. This will set your computer to it’s original settings. Whihc means make sure any documents you have need to be backed up obviously before erasing your hard drive.
You are not saying what the problem is. I assume it is virus’s or spyware or both. Yes you can reformat the drive which essentially wipes everything out and then reload from your restore CDs if you have restore CDs. If you want to wipe the drive and get rid of it you need a program that does a lot more than just formatting.
You need to have the original CD for the OS software, then find the system restore command.
