winlogon.exe and regedit.exe I now can’t open regedit.exe.
When I quit the antivirus it comes up with a message saying that I need to insert the Windows XP SP2 CD in the CD Drive to repair the infected files – Although I don’t have the CD.
I have done a Virus Scan and they have not shown up. Is there anything to worry about?
It says I have the Trojan called: ‘Trojan.Win32.Pakes.x3’

That’s a brand new virus, detected in the last week June 21st, so you may have to give it a couple of days for them to come up with a resolution, be careful with what you do.
Take care.
restore your computer back to when your computer was working just fine.
Then I’d advise you to get AVG free and clean out your computer.
Windows update
your screwed
not
turn off
turn on
hit F8 repeatedly
go into SAFE MODE
run SYSTEM RESTORE back a few days ago
this normally gets rid of things like that
try it
good luck
downlaod AVG and ANTVIR and then scan then remove it
YES. The virus has infected your Registry editor, and your Winlogon.exe. I suggest you contact your manufacturer to send you a cd.
this doesnt sound like a virus maybe a virus caused this or corrupted the registry but youll need to find a cd or boot into safe mode and try the virus scan again. if not youll have to goto your backup if you have one or restore your computer to a earlier time using restore or download a third party registry fixer
