If you are using an older hard drive, I recommend to replacing them. Just Google Hard disk repair software to obtain a software. Make sure it has 5 tuscow awards.
Actually I have been able to recover many corrupted hard drives with SpinRite. You burn it to a CD or copy it to a floppy and boot off of it. Select the hard drive you want to repair, let it run (takes about 30mins to 4 hours depending on the size of the drive). I’ve had about 90-95% success rate with SpinRite. The only time it can’t seem to repair a corrupted drive is when the hard drive has had a mechanical failure which doesnt seem to be the case since you were able to at least get the chkdsk util to run.
If you can not repaird over problem.you should change new hard disk.because. Your hard disk was bad sector.
Once is corrupted there’s no turning back. I’m sorry to tell you this but you have to reformat it. Try saving accessible files that’s important to you
