I do not hear Windows startup or exit sounds, and have tried nearly everything to get them back. One suggestion I found was this:

Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER and click on it, then delete the entry that says (Default) REG_SZ, it will be replaced with (Default) REG_SZ (value not set) which will restore the startup and exit sounds.
Does anyone know if this will work? Will deleting this registry entry get me into trouble?
Thanks for the help.

I have an incense burner filled with sand to hold the insence stick in place. It was on my desk where my computer is and it fell behind my desk. I picked up all the glass peices but there’s still sand all over my computer plugs! Obviously my computer is working fine. But I don’t want to break it or something by trying to clean up the sand mess. Plus, my dad will kill me if he finds out about this.

I know it’s a weird situation but any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Windows Vista Repair.?

I am having some serious issues with my computer and I am trying to avoid buying and installing a new operating system. My system still boots…It crashes at least 3 times a day and I can’t go to websites like youtube without it freezing up on me. My question is I was doing some research on how to fix the problem last night and I came across this software called Spotmau Power Suite. It is supposed to replace missing files and get my computer working as it should again. It has a 30 money back guarantee. Would this be something good to try or should I just put a new operating system on my computer?
