Alright, I am really broke right now and I need my laptop for school. i was just wondering if there is anywhere that could at least tell me what is wrong. It’s a hardware problem, not a software problem. I’ve tried everything and the stupid company (Dell) refuses to help unless i pay them like two hundred dallors and that isn’t for fixing it, that’s for seeing what is wrong and i bought the computer brand new off the market from their company website.
Dell is a horrible place to buy computers and their computers stink, I’m never buying them again. But I need to use it to finish school really bad. Thanks anyone, if you know where any online printable coupons or anything like that is i would greatly appreicate it. Thanks and God Bless.

*i dont know if i have a software or a hardware problem. this is what i see…

This portion of the Setup program prepares Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP to run on your computer.

-To set up Windows XP now, Press Enter.
-To repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery Console, press R.
-To quit Setup without installing Windows XP, press F3.

If I hit ENTER, this is what it says:

The following list shows the existing partitions and unpartitioned space on this computer.

Use the UP and DOWN ARROW keys to select an item in the list.

-To set up Windows XP on the selected item, press ENTER.
-To create a partition in the unpartitioned space, press C.
-To delete the selected partition, press D.

if I hit D to delete the partitions(?), a blue screen pops up showing this:

A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you’ve seen this Stop error screen, restart this computer……

etc…etc… (I’m sure you know what this screen says)
