I turn on the laptop and the acer logo comes up, then a black screne saying windows failed to start a hardware or software change could be the cause, and the option…launch startup repair, but after the startup repair finishes it says the system will work normally after the restart.
Then it restarts and the black load screen with the green windows bar come up but without the windows logo….then the blue screen of death comes up!!!
I’ve tried system restore but it says the acer disk has a hardware problem and safe mose won’t work either….
Is there anyway for me to get my picture files off the laptop?

Download Latest Hiren’s Boot CD or UBCD for Windows.
Boot with that CD.
After booting with CD you able to boot with mini Windows XP. The mini Windows XP operating system loaded using that CD.
Once you get the Start menu, open my computer and browse your partition and copy all your data in to pen drive.
Then re-install your laptop.
That’s all.
if u want 2 recover ur data…thn
use "ubantu" os cd..which a free source.
start laptop , insert tht disk in laptop, now u can c ur data .
take data which u want in pen drive…thn reinstall windows os in ur laptop.
if any prob thn ask me.
my solution will be re-install your windows in different partition you put your file(the picture your want to save.) example if your put your pic in C then you’ll install it at D: but you gotta to be sure cause your D will be reformat
or you can take out your hard drive and insert it in another PC, then you can copy all you important files
