Any recommendations for a free registry clean up tool for windows xp?

Hello Everyone,
In the last 2-3 months, I have been installing and uninstall some software from the internet, things like Tortorrent download tools, software tools, Eclipse, NetBeans, Quick timer, iTunes.. etc.. a lot of them. Then after using them, I have uninstalled a few cuz I realized I no more need them. Now my Pc is running very slow. Also I faced a problem where this ccsvhost.exe (Norton related) stuff would eat up all the memory and cpu, I just found a work around I open up norton then disabled few kind of scans like messanger and such stuff or background scan, that helped me from norton slowing down the system. Having done all this good lot of crap.. Now I am feeling I need to clean up my registry. I understand that I am trying to install one more tool, but any tool that is worth installing and that might clean up my registry, without bothering me to buy the software in the middle of its job? I mean it totally annoys when it says so many issues are identified with your registry, but plz subscribe for it to further clean up :(. .. It will be a great help if anyone of you help me with this.

I just used Advance System Care free ware, so far so good, I will see for a day or two and if it looks fine then shall update again with the observations and then try the suggestions by other guys.

How do I clean up my computer before I quit my job?

I am leaving my job at the end of this week. I dont have porn or anything like that on my computer but I have done a lot of personal things; documents, spreadsheets, emails, IM etc. Is there anything I can do to purge the computer of this? My boss isnt exactly computer saavy but I dont want to take any chances. I have deleted all documents and emptied the recycle bin, I clear my history daily and run ad -aware to clear my browser. But it is my understanding even though these things are deleted – they arent gone. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks!

i have used ccleaner but it just doesn’t get the job done

i have registry easy installed on my computer, but it needs a serial number which i don’t have

so what are some good registry cleaners that are good and free

(or if you have registry easy can u give me the serial number to borrow)

I am trying to clean up history of every site i went to or what i have downloaded before handing over my computer to the networking guys at my job. Last time when i gave to them to fix something they were able to see everything i went to even after i cleared my browsing history, cookies, cache etc. How do i go about viewing and deleting all the history (all the sites i went to and my computer history) ?? please help?
