Windows Vista troubles? Need urgent help.?

So I’m getting the ‘vista expiry message’.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I’m guessing this was my own fault. I done a registry clean up before, and I must have messed with some files or something because I read this:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ SL"

So yeah, I’ve fucked something up.

Can anyone tell me where to start to go about fixing this?

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.?

i have an acer aspire M5640 and when i press the start button a few seconds later i it fails to boot up with the following symptoms:

I get a message saying "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. i says something about a installation disc and i dont have it. it also gives me the following options 1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart the computer.
2. Choose your language settings and click next.
3. Click "repair your computer"

It also gives me the following options:

4. Safe Mode
5. Safe Mode with networking
6. Safe Mode with Command Prompt
7. Last known good configuration
8. Start Windows normally
none see to work. what can i do only a true geniusis can answer this so please help:)

How do I get rid of this malware? ?

I don’t know how it happened; one day I got home from work and signed in to a bunch of pages of advertisement being displayed. I tried using Avast, Search and Destroy and 1 Click Maintenance to no avail. Search and Destroy actually deleted something important to the registry and my icons and start button and bar wouldn’t display anymore. I had to load it up in safemode and undo everything it cleaned up, which fixed that problem but the malware still remains.

One thing I did notice is that normally my windows updates are automatic and now it is turned off and I can’t turn it back on again. Another thing is that these are all trial versions of the anti-virus and malware detection/elimination software. I’m at a loss though, usually I can get this cleaned up in a jiffy but this one seems to be serious. System Restore doesn’t have a mark to where I can restore it to an earlier time either.

Any ideas?
I would just wipe it clean but of course I can’t find my XP disk at all.

How to clean a pc that was infected with a brontoc virus?

Hello guys, could u pls help me out with this?? I’ve found out that my pc was infected with brontoc. I’ve noticed that the folder option in the tools menu was missing and after I execute the run on the start button, my pc is restarting even though I didnt do restarting…What antivirus software is suited for this?? could u pls provide me an antivirus that cleans brontoc and at the same time free of charge or no subcription is needed…..thanks
