How to get this virus off of my computer and get free protection that is good?

My school usually lets me use their virus protection for free, but just when I get a new virus on my computer the virus protection has stopped completely.

So I know it is a virus, and I just want to find a program that will do a scan and delete it and then provide some free protection? Just quick and easy fixes please? K thanks.

What is the difference for a family virus protection and a single virus protection?

I want to know what the difference is between V3 Internet Security 2007 Platinum and V3 Internet Security 2007 Platinum for 3 Users (Family). I dont care about the virus protection. I just want to know the difference. Can I use the single one for one computer. How does the Family one work? Does it work for different users or like accounts?

I have quite a few viruses on my computer, one scan said 112, and about 50 some spyware. I am using the free AOL virus protection and it is awful. I'm looking for the best virus protection to remove the exsisting viruses and help protect my computer from others. I would prefer an all-in-one program, with virus protection, spy-ware, ad-ware, all of that. It doesn't have to be free. Any good ones out there?
