The last time I just installed over the windows 98 and that didnt go so well. Does it really matter? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you…………:)

Am wanting to know if anyone can reccomend a real good registry cleaner for my windows 98 computer. I have tried eusing registry cleaner and ccleaner and neither seems to help my computer any ,so would appreciate any suggestions on what would be the best freeware registry cleaner to use, thnks.

I have already installed other cleaners like "Registry Optimizer", "Regseeker", and "Registry Bot" so far they all find different problems and don't seem to fix or remove any of them. My OS is windows 98 and my computer is a Compaq and it is a little on the older and slower side. Any and all help would really be appreciated.
