i have windows vistas and if i were to do disk clean up will it remove my pictures documents and music? what can i also do to speed up my computer performence?

It releases the free space that is being taken up and not being in use. No it will not remove pictures or documents. That will make you computer faster. Clean the computer regularly by deleting all the browsing history and files stored on the internet and temporary files. Do disk fragmentation and don’t let programs that you don’t use run on your background.
defrag speeds performance, along with virus/spyware scan. disk cleanup eliminates every file that you dont use (aka recycel bin, internet cookies, 1 time use internet downloads, microsoft office installer files)
can all be restores after deleted, other than recycle bin, internet downloads( wont delete itunes or stuff like that, just the 50mb u needed to download to install it) microsoft office installation (just put the disk back in)
