Mail this post winlogon.exe and regedit.exe I now can’t open regedit.exe.
When I quit the antivirus it comes up with a message saying that I need to insert the Windows XP SP2 CD in the CD Drive to repair the infected files – Although I don’t have the CD.
I have done a Virus Scan and they have not shown up. Is there anything to worry about?
It says I have the Trojan called: ‘Trojan.Win32.Pakes.x3′

Mail this post I believe I encountered a rogue software last week. Received a pop up for a trojan virus. Ran my AVG software and thought I repaired system. Now windows close on their own. I cannot update windows or any antivirus. I have run AVG, Avast, SuperAntiSpyware and yahoo antivirus….nothing is found. I can not do a system restore, nor can I start up in safe mode (F8). I am running Windows XP. Can someone tell me where to turn next
Mail this post What is the best anti-virus protection for your computer?
I've been told the NORTON internet security and/or NORTON 360 protection are the best. Does anyone have anything better?
