I just opened up windows XP after installing a clean copy and the key for my @ symbol and my " symbol are switched around. Is this the American layout? I live in the UK and I would like my " key to be on my ‘2’ button. Thanks!
How to “clean-up” a work computer?

I know I should not have, but went on the web at work…what can I do to really clean it up and rid as much as possible the history that I now know is on the hard drive so if the computer folks check I don’t get zinged?? program, download, etc??
Including programs, a lot of my stuff I don’t have disc’s for anymore, or bought and downloaded online and will not be able to reinstall, is there a program, or special way to copy things I choose onto my external drive so that I can just put the programs back on the C drive?
How can I clean up my computer so it will run faster?

I’m on dial up but my computer is moving slower than slow and freezes up alot! Is it a bug or what?
Disk Clean Up problems – Windows XP?

Hi, I’m trying to free up disk space on my computer [it’s a Sony Vaio], and last night I tried the ‘Disc Clean Up’ tool, and it when scanning it wouldn’t go past ‘compressed files’ or something like that. I decided to leave it all night and when I checked it this morning it was the exact same.
Does anyone know how I can fix this, or what the problem is?
Any help will be much appreciated. 🙂
