Are registry cleaners needed?

This is something that’s been plaguing me for weeks. "Should I or shouldn’t I install a registry cleaner?, Will it do more harm than good?, Which registry cleaner is the safest to use?, etc. Can someone put me out of my misery and give me your opinions and an overview of the pros and cons of using a registry cleaners. Thank you.

i wasnt lagging a while ago but now its every game bad lag. its always me. i did registry cleaner and antivirus too. i did malware scans and everything is good with those. but config wise, what changes can i make to optimize it.?

I need a good registry cleaner but is share/free ware ever really free??

I’m specifically looking for freeware/shareware that completely cleans all the errors it finds on my registry without my having to ‘register’ (i.e., pay for) it.

I am fed up with useing registry cleaners they destroy your registry?

so therefore i am thinking of getting a uninstaller program will this remove all traces of a program i install if so whats the best one to use thanks for any help

I am not against paying for software to clean registry keys, but if there is a free trial version I can use it would help me pinpoint which registry keys need to be repaired.Plus I’m strapped for cash and need a site that can give me a find & fix trial version.If that’s possible!
