I tried another monitor that I know works and it still came up blank. Has anybody run across this before? Did my video card go bad? It is only a year old as is the entire computer.

How do I correct the device manager entry that is on my computer?

My HP 522n thinks I have a CD-Rom instead of a CD-RW.
I found a note saying my disk Drive is a Samsung SV6003H but my device manager thinks I have a CD- ROM. (This note may refer to another computer, but I know my computer has a CD-RW!)

Do I have to change the drive? Can I change it by going into Boot information? My software is Microsoft Windows XP.

Any suggestions are welcome. It does not mean I will try this myself since I am not a programmer. I want to have an idea what the repair person may do.

Windows Vista Registry error?

Whenever I turn on my computer I get a message STOP:c0000218 and something else. I have tried logging in normally, in safe mode, and using my last good configuration, and none of them let me log in. Please do not tell me to download a registry cleaner, because I CANNOT log into windows to do it. Also, I don’t have a windows Vista disc to boot from.

Registry Clean Software PC?

I’m trying to find a good Registry Clean Software for my PC. I see to be slowing down. I run Malewarebytes, and Avast! anti-virus and my windows XP SP3 seems to be slow got 3 gig Ram in the machine also. haven’t seen my computer this slow in a long time any one know any free Registry software or test programs that would be great.
