My Vista computer keeps freezing and then i try to restart it then i have to do startup repair. more details..?

it used to work fine then about a week ago it started to freeze. i thought it had a virus so i tried to run a scan and it just froze again. i went on it again today and it is still freezing, i ran windows malicious software removal tool and it didnt find anything. When it freezes i have to restart it incorrectly then it comes up with a thing and asks if i want to start StartUp Repair. I do this, its fine, then freezes again and the cycle returns. Please help. I’m really worried.

Uninstall McAfee and Comodo Firewall on Windows Vista Home Premium?

I installed both of those firewalls and removed them. Yet Vista keeps reporting that they are running. I am having problems with them now. I even ran a registry cleaner, still Vista keeps reporting that "multiple firewalls report that they are turned on."

How do I fix this problem, I want to completely remove them?

I used to be able to burn cd’s with my roxio burner until i accidentally uninstalled something in my remove programs file. now the computer wont let me burn because my DLL was not found. what do i do? i have no windows cd, no money to buy repair software and do i still have my roxio installed?

Is it safe to delete invalid registry entries?

I have Easy Cleaner 2.0 on my Windows XP PC. Upon running the Registry cleaner, it came up with 220 invalid entries. Is it safe to delete these? Should I somehow backup my system before I delete them?
