I have been using Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Plus for nearly a year now. I’ve always been able to run every aspect of Office without fail. I haven’t changed any hardware or significant software changes in that time, but within the last few days, it has quit working. Whenever I try to start Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, or Outlook, I get an error message saying that there isn’t enough memory or disk space to run those programs. I can run every other program on my computer without problem. I have twice ran the Microsoft Office Diagnostic tool, and it says there is no problem with my system. My anti-virus, anti-spam, and anti-malware tools can’t find anything. If I contact Microsoft about the problem, their free troubleshooting help doesn’t apply to me. They want to charge me just to CHAT with someone who may or may not be able to help me. I don’t know what to do to fix this, but I don’t want to pay them money. Please, can anyone offer any suggestions?
Canadian Bacon’s answer fails. The processes that are currently running on my PC aren’t taking enough memory to cause a problem.
What’t the best free program to use to “clean up” my PC?
I’ve noticed that my PC is a little slower than usual. What’s the best free program I can download to clean up unwated files and clear up disk space?
Dead Mobo, windows not booting on new mobo?
This happens all the time!!! it drives me crazy, i got a corrupted hal.dll at first and just fixed that, not it restart when windows just finish loading. Repair windows option is not available, is there a way to force it? I tried running windows xp in safe mode and install xp, but it keeps telling my key is not correct. So i tried Vista, but i didnt have a key, so i just choose the no key option which i need to activate in 30days or it wont work anymore. But it says cannot upgrade in safe mode! Is there any way to bypass this, i read around alot n there was ways to swap mobo through microsoft software, but mine is dead. I have no clue!!! Please HELP. THX!!
I know y it doesn’t work, but does anyone know how to fix it? Where is the drivers and stuff located thats causing this? Is it possible to install the same XP on a different hdd on teh same comp, then just swaping the drivers/files to the old hdd? but then were is the file.

i want to free up some disk space on my windows 2000 xp system
first i go to start, then to programs,
then to accessories, then to system tools,
then i go to clean disk, once i get there and click it gives me several blocks to check in green or un check i usually check all of them.
it removes all of them but is not removing the stuff contained in the "compress old files" block. what’s wrong? how can i get this to work?
