Is there any free software where it fixes AND scan my computer for free?

I have had people give me free scan softwares like Registry Cleaner but they only give me free scanning but I would have to pay for getting it fixed. I want a free scan and I want a free fix where I don’t want to pay for anything when I get my computer fixed with a software. I just want to download it and be done with it without paying for nothing. And I want to get my computer to stop crashing down on me without having to pay a cent so can you please help me by giving me a good software for my computer please.

i’m running xp home (unfortunately) and i actually have this problem on my laptop and my parents computer. i am not able to open up folders, ie my computer, control panel, etc. i’m also not able to open up IE or AIM or shut down via the start menu, i’ve got to hold the button down for a bit before it shuts down. i’ve defragged both computers a few days ago and just recently installed a registry cleaner. any thoughts? thanks

I got a virus (XP 2009 antivirus) on my computer. What do I do now?

After i got the virus I downloaded Kaspersky’s internet Protection suite. Ran a registry cleaner and daily scans to clean my computer. I still have a problem with the computer shutting down in the middle of a search or every page i search gets redirected to another site.
