i need a good registry cleaner.
I wouldnt mind free, but they tend not to work too well.
Unless someone knows one that DOES work good?
Anyway,im willing to pay,but they are all so high.
Are there any for UNDER 20 dollars?
I tried to get a couple today but it asks for a # to register it and it wont let me access anything?
Like i said,FREE would be nice,if it actually works.

System Restore (need to be in "normal mode") & Last Known Configuration don’t help.

I had Symantec Anti-virus w/Live Update, but that has not been performing well lately and I deleted it as Live Update was not actually Live Updating it. Any anti-virus software I dl, it refuses for some odd reason. What I do have installed is Malware Bytes & Wise Registry Cleaner 4.

I have seen most tech forums on the Web and none of them have been providing me a right answer, so I will take suggestions from here. Thanks to those that help me, I truly appreciate it. 🙂

Ok, I have some troubles with my computer which is Xp Professional. There are several errors that my registry cleaner had detected so far, but since its a trial version it cannot fix those issues. There are still more than 200 registry errors, many of them are these temporary file shortcuts. Is there a way to get rid of them manually without using a registry cleaner? Its hard to find them on the registry editor.
I have been using CCleaner for some time now. But it cannot detect much of the errors.
