Need registry booster/cleaner?

I have windows XP, SP3. Need to know what would be the absolute best registry booster/cleaner. Had uniblue but didn’t know if it was the best so I uninstalled it. I’ve seen so many ads for registry cleaners that I’m no longer sure which is best, or if, in fact, I really need one. Thanks.

iv used CC Cleaner and tried various registry cleaners, but they only scan the computer, tell me how many errors i have and then dont clean them! they want money of course…so annoying lol help

Hi. As the title says, my computer has been completely freezing just recently, and I have NFI what the problem is. I have ran alot of registry cleaners, and after fixing alot of stuff, there are no problems in those fields. But my computer still Freezes, forcing me to turn it off via holding the power button.

For the majority of times, it has frozen while I was playing WoW, or when I had a web browser open. When I turn it back on, it just sits there with a blank screen, and the power light is on. I have to hold the button and turn it off again, and then press it on again. If Im lucky, it starts up. When it does however, the light around the power button does something funny. I press it, it comes on for a second, then goes off for around 3 seconds, then it comes back on and the orange light underneath it begins to flash and it boots up. When it doesnt boot up when I hit the power button, the orange light doesnt flash at all.

Are there any other things which can cause PC’s to just freeze without warning. If so, please tell me and give me some solutions to possible problems. Any help would be appreciated

Okay, I have Windows Vista 64-bit. Very recently, I started encountering two major .dll errors. The biggest error is the ADVAPI32.dll missing error. I get a message telling me the ADVAPI32.dll file is missing. I have checked in System32 and it is still there, at about 1,038kb.

I’ve seen solutions that involve using a registry cleaner but I can’t open the registry cleaners because that file is ‘missing’. Many of programs like Internet Explorer 32bit, Microsoft Word, MSN Messenger, all of my installed games, registry cleaners, anti-virus programs, and probably more programs will not open because of this.

I also get an error message that says ntdll.dll is missing from the ‘dynamic library’ when I try to open other programs.

How can I fix these .dll errors without using a registry cleaner?

Also, I tried doing a system restore from its farthest restore point. It simply will not work. I need a solution please!
Tried bringing up the command line as suggested in answer# 2.

Came up with
RegSvr32:
"The module ‘ADVAPI32.dll’ was loaded but the entry point DLLRegisterServer was not found.

Make sure that ‘ADVAPI32.dll’ is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again."

I’m looking for a registry cleaner where I can manually select keys by software vendor for Windows XP. A program called RegCleaner did it for me, but since I have a new pc (also runs XP) it doesn’t work for me.

Now most registry cleaners will scan automatically, but they are quite useless and dangerous to use. Are there any other registry cleaners out there that don’t scan / delete anything automatically but make it easier for me to identify the keys I want to throw out?

Good tip, but I really need one that will clear out the registry keys per software vendor. This one only scans for issues.
