I believe I encountered a rogue software last week. Received a pop up for a trojan virus. Ran my AVG software and thought I repaired system. Now windows close on their own. I cannot update windows or any antivirus. I have run AVG, Avast, SuperAntiSpyware and yahoo antivirus….nothing is found. I can not do a system restore, nor can I start up in safe mode (F8). I am running Windows XP. Can someone tell me where to turn next

i need a copy of windows xp clean version i already have a valid activation code so i just need a copy idk if is in torrent i just need one please!

I pasted the text below of the Windows Security Center popup that eventually requires me to spend for a repair download. The download site is last. Do I need to spend this money to repair it, repair it some other way for free, or ignore it? Edward

My system is Windows XP and my browser is firefox. I need to find something that will clean it up but I can't afford anything at the moment. Is there anyplace I can get a free registry cleaner that is good?

Hi, I've just got a new Acer Aspire 5672wlmi which didn't have any recovery or driver CDs. I clean installed Windows XP on a newly formatted hard drive.

For some reason, the computer can't detect the modem, sound card or wireless adapter. I've checked on the Acer website and it says this laptop has these devices. Just wondering if this is normal? Do we need to install the drivers for the computer to recognise the devices? I'm so confused…
