My computer became very slow and I bought into the Ascentive programs called Active Speed, Speed Scan Pro, and PC Scan and Sweep. Nothing wonderful has happened so far. Please share your experience, thoughts, advice. Thanks a lot.
Can anyone comment about the Ascentive brand software whch is supposed to help clean up your computer?

i got a Dell, originally came with ME installed, and an XP update….. my computer is beyond repair software wise,,, i need to complettly uninstall windows X, and reload the ME, i got all the disks, but i need to know how to start the unistallation process for XP
I went to “8” different websites looking for “Free Registry Cleaners” couldn’t find one.?

The websites I incontered all were free downloads, but not free registry cleaner. You had to purchase the software inorder to clean the registry on your computer.
my computer keeps rebooting on start up!! before windows loads!! win i use the function key it still restarts!! no matter what i choose to start in!! so i have read in many instances that i need to reinstall!! so the question is if i download windows xp pro to my hard drive!! can i run the installer from dos mode??
