I seem to have the worst ever Malware… computer is so slow it barely runs unless on safe mode!! have tried Smitfraud, Mcafee, Sniper, Malware remover, Registry Cleaner, Spydoctor etc etc any others or should I just format?

I have an Acer Aspire One that runs Windows XP, and I would like to know if anyone knows of a really good virus protection/removal program that protects against all of the viruses and spyware and junk. I would prefer something that I can purchase in a store instaid of off the internet. Thank You!
I recently reinstalled a clean copy of windows xp on my computer. My speedstream 5100 no longer works with the computer, and i am unable to connect to the computer. What could be wrong. Do i eed to install new drivers or something?
