I can delete temporary files, cookies and even registry entries from msconfig of my own. What is the other use of registry cleaner so that I get the benefit of purchasing it?

What are Web Client/Publisher Temporary files?
While cleaning up the disk C for better space under the performance and maintenance programme of the control panel, the web Client/Publisher temporary files are not getting deleted/erased, inspite of the computer saying that they are not necessary and can be safely removed, and even after putting a check mark in the box. Why? And how to delete them?

When I use my Cannon scanner with my Dell laptop I can scan about 13 images before the computer crashes and won’t allow any more scans.

My standard specs for scanning are:
Tiff file type
300 dpi resolution
output = 8 inches wide
greyscale

I alwaysI have to reboot. I have deleted the temporary internet files and done a disk clean up (Windows XP), but it still will crash.

Are there other settings I can use on the computer so it doesn’t hold on to the temporary files?

Is that what’s making it crash?

I currently have ccleaner and Glary Utilities which are both freeware that I found. I am looking for a suite that will fix my registry, remove privacy info, remove temporary files, remove spyware, etc. I would like the best all in one program that is very useful, but as i stated, i prefer freeware and even better yet if its from a safe place like download.com or something like that (although all suggestions are accepted).

I could pay to Norton for software to do this, but it seems as though I could just do this myself very easily with some direction. Best answer gets chosen based on ease/success of the answer.
I guess I should note that I already have killer antivirus/firewall/protective software. What I’m looking for is a way to clean out my temporary files and defragment the thing since I’m a you tube junkie.
