It says it will remove unneccesary, files, registry entries and internet clutter from my system to free up disk space.
Will this take away all of my folders and pictures and stories and poems I’ve written and stuff that I have on my desktop? Is this a good thing to do or is almost like rebooting a computer?! HELP!

It doesn’t say what year it is when the program starts up. Is there any way to find out? Sorry, Im not so good with computers. Im trying to wipe my computer clean by reinstalling Windows XP home Edition and found an installation disk at work. But when I tried to install it it told me it was an older format and wouldn’t let me install.

I want to wipe my computer clean as it is messing up with virus and the like. I don’t have any programs aside from Zune (my MP3 launcher) that I personally installed on it. Also, I’ve had it rebooted by a tech professional some time ago, I kept getting the "This copy of windows is not genuine" error. How can I wipe my computer clean to start over, and what, if anything, would I miss?
