No start bar or internet access on my PC after running a registry cleaner?

I ran a registry cleaner yesterday thinking it might speed up my pc a bit, now after restarting my pc i have no start (task bar) and can not get on the internet. The task bar is not hidden, its just not there.

I get an error when i load windows saying "the specific module cannot be found" relating to a file i have never haerd of in windows\system32 – i think it was bkxalmll.dll I am on windows XP

Any help would be really appreciated

I understand the whole concept of third party software ; but shouldn’t Window Registry police itself?

Shouldn’t we be able to rely on the operating system to keep itself in stable condition? My registry cleaner found 6000 errors this month alone. Since the OS is such an important function of the computer; why can’t it pick up after itself?

about vista if shut down the computer and start windows up to end up blank nothing there what to do?

about vista — if i shut down the computer and then restart windows to log in and then nothing shows up no icons, no anything, not even the task bar the screen is blank what can i do?

hi i am suffering this problem from one week actaully i am installing nokia pc suite n when it goes to 80% the error appear like this
could not open the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID…
and i tried lot of registry repair softwares like TuneUp Utilities 2007,Registry Mechanic,easy cleaner etc but no solution and i also apply the microsoft method and some others methods which are in the following links

Fake message service popups. For Registry cleaner?

Has anybody else heard of this? I recently upgraded to XP and during the process my Virus protection was turned off. Before i got it in place something slipped through. Now I keep getting these pop ups that say… Message service
Bla bla bla go to this website and it will clean these pop ups . When you go its trying to sell a program for a registry cleaner
How do I block this and remove these adds.
It looks like a scam to get me to give out my info ect. Help .
