This happens even when IE7 is not already running. Pop-ups include "WinAnonymous", and antivirus software keep detecting a trojan called "Virtumonde", and keep successfully cleaning it out. However, the problem does not go away.
I keep getting pop-up ads from IE7 of PC clean-up tools that ask me to download programs. How do I clean?
plz help!!!!!!!?

Who else agrees that PC virus protection software is a total scam?
I have had computers for the last 10 years and never used virus protection software. I do use a firewall, but I prefer hardware ones, as stuff like zonealarm just doesn’t work. And as of yet, I have never had a virus/worm/trojan which threatened the data on my PC.
PC World makes out that without McAffee or Norton, you WILL get a virus as SOON as you switch your modem on.
How do I restore Windows Vista shell explorer files for startup in registry editor?
I just deleted a Backdoor.Prorat trojan for vista, but it deleted my shell info (the startup occurs with only the documents window open and a blank screen in the background) and I need to know how I can change my shell script to login with the regular desktop. THANK YOU.

Can someone please help me find this folder on my computer?HKCU\Software\Microsoft…..?
I have a virus on my computer that is mainly located in this Loaction…HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\InternetSettings\ZoneMap\EscDomains. I have no idea what HKCU is and where to look for it to manually remove the files attached to this trojan. I do not have the money to pay for software or even worse a PC repair shop so I’d like to manually delete.
