My internet is running really slow and need a way to clean up my computer but dont have the money. I have anit-virus software but I have a feeling it has more to do with the registry. Is there anything the will clean out my registry for free?

I have windows xp professional service pack 2 and I want to know If I can do a clean install of the os with out having to format my hard drive?
yes but if I install the new os without uninstalling the otherr one I willhave 2 partitions which I dont want.

my computer is almost a year old old and now its starting to slow down especially the internet how can i clean up the hard drive without deleting files and folders..i dont really have any programs i dont need so i dont know what to do help please i hate wen computers start to slow down i dont have paticnece with them

I am trying to install Windows XP on a freshly formatted drive (NTFS formatted). Do I need to make it bootable before installing or anything else I should know?
what will reformatting my computer do? I have too much junk on here and need a clean up.?
