i just found out that i have either a regular pc worm or a networking worm. (most likely 2nd) but whats the best free software out there that can fix the problem. the worm keeps shutting down my browsers and randomly restarts the computer. And to make things worse every time the pc restarts it restores everything to how the pc was before the worm. any suggestions, email or IM me for more questions to help me. Thanks
Motorola K1m – connecting issues and MTP device driver?
Instead of purchasing the music essentials kit I followed the advice of a forum and downloaded the Motorola driver software for my phone as well as VZW Music Manager. When connecting my phone to my laptop (34bit Vista home premium) the device driver installation recognizes and installs the motorola software.
Motorola USB composite device
Motorola USB modem #2
Motorola USB diagnostic port
My problem is that the MTP device goes from being "ready to use" to "searching for preconfigured driver software". The VCAST Music Manager shows that my phone is not connected and I am unable to sync my phone to my computer. I know that during the moments when everything is ready to use that everything is working properly because my phone registers as charging.
I called Verizon tech support and they were un able to help me. I went to Microsofts website and couldn’t find anything that really solved my problem. Can someone please help me out!! :]
I don’t have a removable disk for the phone.

Can my hard drive be saved?
My compy is 4 years old. After uninstalling Linksys software that wasn’t working properly, my computer wouldn’t boot. After doing some research, I believed my boot.ini file had been corrupted (somehow). After booting from diskettes and the chkdsk /r thing, Windows finally booted. But the "Warning: Dell’s Disk Monitoring System has detected that drive 0 on the primary EIDE controller is operating outside of normal specifications…" appeared after restarting.
I tried running a 90/90 diagnostic, but I never got a "drive functional/dysfunctional" message. Only "pass".
I also tried installing the BR64013.exe file. I’m not even sure if that installed properly as I couldn’t exit the program and had to restart using the tower button.
I understand the SMART system is something you should take seriously. But is there anything else I can do to know for sure that my hard drive is done? I take care of my things, and I hate accepting that ONE uninstall as the downfall of my compy.
Thanks! 🙂
Revised Quest – Installed a new PC Hard Drive.(Is not a slave) Modem shows but “Network Connections” are blank
Couldnt figure out how to edit or ammend my first question, so … Computer is a Dell Dimension 4600. Loaded all original Software onto new Hard Drive. Diagnostics says all is ok. Connection Wizard cant find any DRIVERS on computer. otherwise, everything else works fine that I go into. I’ve reloaded software and ran "repairs", and still no luck.
I have repeatedly put in the drivers disc and OS disc and even started over and STILL cannot get it to work. Am really lost here.
Can you spot a virus? (with hijackthis list…)
Main issue:
I cant open links on most websites…. or enlarge images that appear on google images. the mouse pointer doesnt seem to recognise them.(normally it would turn into a hand from a pointer.)
i cant even post this problem on any tech help sites as i cant click on the post ‘new thread’ button.
not sure why but YahoO’s links work.
i cant click on thumbnail pictures on facebook either, normally it would open the enlarged view of the picture ect…
ive tryed updating internet explorer 7 and the java updates.
here is a log from HIJACKTHIS see if you can spot any virus
THANK YOU!
